Chimney Repair

In our climate, chimney repair is often needed. Because chimneys are above the roof line, they are exposed to the elements year round. When a chimney becomes saturated with moisture from rain or snow and the temperature drops below freezing, damage can occur. Freezing moisture can be incredibly strong and destructive causing damage to mortar, bricks, flue tiles, concrete crowns and flashing.

Most of the chimneys we have repaired were damaged this way; however, we have also repaired chimneys that have been damaged by faulty liners, lightning, settling of the home, other construction being done and even critters!

All of our chimney repairs are done according to the National Fire Protection Association 211 Standards for chimneys.
